Ballad Park provides lake and beach access for the community during the summer months.
Public Beach & Swimming
On the site of the Westport Inn, Ballard Park maintains a sandy beach and swimming area with breathtaking views of Lake Champlain. Picnic, take in the views, swim, or paddle from the Ballard Park Beach. Note: Adhere to all posted signs regarding safety, swimming, and blue-green algae.
Beach Safety
Staying safe while using the beach and lake should be your first priority. Follow the printed rules and do not swim without a trained lifeguard and supervision.

Lifeguards On Duty
Lifeguards are on duty on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for your safety and guidance while using the lake.
Please use caution if using the beach, lake and grounds.
